Founded in 2014 Mind&Melody uses music to help seniors with and without neurological impairments regain pieces of themselves while instilling purpose and empathy in younger generations. We provide over 60+ programs in person and online for senior communities, day centers, and for seniors aging in place, in north and south Florida and beyond benefiting over 1000 seniors. We've been recognized nationally for our work with our most recent win being the AARP Pitch & Thrive Innovation competition.
I recently moved to Los Alamos, New Mexico last year and noticed the lack of music in the area. We started our first Mind&Melody program at the Beehive at White Rock in August, and we're looking forward to expanding into Albuquerque and Santa Fe in the near future. Our goal is to use music to impact that lives of those aging in place while also building intergenerational connections with our new and innovating program.
