American Legion, Post 90
The American Legion, Frank G. Frainier Post 90 was chartered into The American Legion in 1948 as a patriotic organization devoted to mutual helpfulness. It is Los Alamos’ oldest fraternal veteran’s organization committed to mentoring youth and sponsorship of wholesome programs in our community, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow service members and veterans which is accomplished through Post 90 access to many programs and activities to support strengthening the community and nation. The American Legion, Frank G. Frainier Post 90 is a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization with political influence perpetuated by grass-roots involvement in the legislation process in local districts. Post 90 stands behind issues most important to the veterans community, backed by resolutions that are passed by volunteer leadership. Frank G. Frainier Post 90 success depends entirely on active membership, participation and volunteerism. The organization belongs to the people it serves and the community of Los Alamos where it thrives.
