YMCA After-School/Summer Camp Counselors
 
The person selected for this position will be responsible for providing an appropriately safe, caring and enriching environment for the children enrolled in the elementary YMCA After-School and Summer Camp programs. Counselors are responsible for conducting themselves in an appropriate manner, setting an example for children, parents and co-workers by reflecting the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Counselors are responsible for complying with all standards set by the New Mexico State Licensing Bureau and will assist in ensuring that staff adheres to all YMCA Childcare Policies and Procedures.  Membership benefits included.  After-School Program-M,T,TH,F-2:30-6pm and Wednesdays, 11a-6pm and flexible to work in Los Alamos or White Rock; Summer Camp work hours vary.  Must be at least 18 years old to apply.  Please pick up an application at The Family YMCA or visit our Careers page at www.laymca.org/careers for job description, application and how to apply.
