Multiple Position

Marketing and Communications Director – view full description. Position Purpose: To provide planning and strategic direction for the marketing and communications of all facets of Ghost Ranch Education & Retreat Center. The Director of Marketing & Communications has direct supervision of the three-person marketing team.

Housekeeping – view full description. Position Purpose: To clean all guest room accommodations; meeting room and public facilities; administrative office spaces on a regular basis. Provide guest room services and other duties as outlined in the full description.

Guest Service Agent – view full description. Position Purpose: To use excellent phone and communication skills to serve guests by providing information, taking reservations and being proficient at front desk services.

Front Desk Manager – view full description. Position Purpose: To supervise the Welcome Center and staff. The FOM ensures that employees provide exceptional service to our guests with an eye on identifying procedures and policies to enhance the guest experience.

Cook – view full description. Position Purpose: Meal preparation and service. Ensures food is prepared according to the recipe, is displayed in an attractive manner, and is ready 15 minutes prior to the commencement of meal time.

Volunteer Positions are: 

Hospitality: Sets up meeting rooms and IT equipment. Prepares spaces for weddings and receptions. Strong physical condition recommended. Maintenance: Assists maintenance staff with the physical care of ranch property and buildings. Handles power outages, clogged sewers, snakes near guest rooms, light construction.

Museum: Welcomes guests. Leads school groups and others through the museum. Helps set up exhibits. Updates computerized files.

Tours: Drives the O’Keeffe Landscape Tour van past the home of Georgia O’Keeffe and her painting sites in parts of the Ranch that are closed to most guests. Leads walking history tours on ranch grounds. May be asked to drive arriving and departing guests to Santa Fe.

Volunteer Coordinator: Recruits and interviews volunteer applicants. Arranges volunteer housing. Acts as a liaison between volunteers and paid staff. Works with ranch management to determine volunteer needs. Serves year-round.

Medical Volunteers – VMPS serve from noon Sunday through noon the following Sunday. They staff the first aid trailer at meal times and carry a walkie-talkie at other times so they can be reached in an emergency. When not in the trailer, they can hike, take classes, visit the library and attend ranch programs. They must remain on ranch property at all times.
